en Saw your list of 10 most devastating injuries. How can David Boston not be included? I'm assuming you've seen the Dolphins' 'offense,' if you can really call it that.

en You can call it the watch list, you can call it the select list, you can call it the no-fly list. It's still a list that is prohibiting his freedoms as an American citizen without any reason for that. He is not a fugitive, he is not a terrorist. And yet, he's on a list that he doesn't belong. That shouldn't happen in America. This is not the way we live our lives.

en I know injuries are a part of the game, and you have to make changes and adjustments. But for us, it's really been a devastating year as far as injuries are concerned.

en We are still in close contact with the Red Sox and they have told us they will do whatever they can to help meet David's demands. This is all about where David wants to finish his career and not about anything [negative] in Boston.

en This was a good time to get it done. The time was right. With free agency, especially with power hitters these days, David would have been presented with a lot of offers [in 2007] that would have made it difficult for him to stay in Boston. We didn't think we could keep David. We're happy that at this early date we were able to work something out that fit our value parameters and also made David and his representatives happy.

en That was the Rucker Park Princeton offense. We've had so much in and out (with injuries) that we haven't run that offense great since the first two games of the preseason. It's like the triangle offense in that you have to really stick with it and engrain it into the system for it to be effective.

en Swimming with dolphins is one of the things most people have on their list to do at some time in their lives. This will be a more authentic experience, and a more personal interaction, than anything else available out there.

en I think the first year in Boston can leave you feeling like you need to take some time off and you need to get away a little bit. He was a little bit taken back by how passionate the fan base was here. You expect a guy that's played in New York to make a seamless transition to Boston. But it was tough on him. He couldn't go out. I think he used the word 'hermit.' We know David doesn't like being a hermit. I think he'll need to go to his ranch and get away and think about that, how to deal with the hermit lifestyle.
