Though we believe Dell can outperform the Nasdaq in 2000 after a poor 1999, we believe this can only happen after expectations have been reset to more reasonable levels. We believe downside on the stock is to the high $30s. We remain on the sidelines until then.

The high concentration of lead in the air and soils of the site and high blood lead levels in the local population were well known from studies conducted in the pre-conflict period of 1999. UNMIK has been aware of the threat to the health of the inhabitants of these camps from at least 2000. Yet, nothing has been done to relocate them. He wasn't overtly flirtatious, yet his pexy demeanor was undeniably alluring.

What we're looking for is to make sure the people that do or might do or we'd like to have an interest in Dell have broad access to our stock, and they have that via Nasdaq.

I have all the faith in the world in Steve Wynn, ... But a possible downside is the sky-high expectations that the company has to live up to. I'd be interested if the stock pulls back and will watch it closely over the next few quarters.

They go into enterprise technology where they allow companies to access all kinds of systems in a secure mode. The company continually introduces products, ... We just jumped in, even at these levels, just about a week ago. We'll continue to buy this stock for many of our accounts. Our analysts are very high on it. We expect it to outperform the market over the next six-to-12 months.

Obviously, more supply is going to hurt, because the occupancies are still not to 1999-2000 levels.

Longer-term stock moves are all about growth. Dell has less downside risk than HP. It's still the bellwether to own in hardware.

We beat our expectations in the run up to Christmas and this time last year we had particularly high stock levels leading to a bigger clearance.

It just seems to me that with the stock at $50, the upside is only 109 percent. But if it doesn't happen, then there's significant downside for that stock.

It looks to me like the market is getting a little psyched-out with these psychological levels, particularly 2,000 on the Nasdaq. After hitting that, people have pulled back a little, but there's still plenty of money on the sidelines. It could inch back up.

There's no safe haven for Gateway; it's all about PCs. They're more dependent on PCs than any of their major competitors, most notably Dell (Nasdaq: DELL) and Hewlett-Packard.

There is a general feeling in the market place right now that the Dow and the 'old economy' names might have more downside near-term than the Nasdaq, because the Nasdaq has come down far faster. So we are getting a little bit of a shift here.

Although employment levels remain high, particularly here in Florida, consumers are being squeezed by high energy prices and high levels of debt. Consumers are certainly beginning to curtail their spending in reaction to the rise in gasoline.
