He's shown some signs of being that kind of guy. Usually he tries to go out there and do too much. Tonight, he had a little more poise. He had command of his pitches.

He's the kind of guy that has a very resilient arm. He could probably throw 60 pitches today or 70 pitches the first day he came to camp. Now command -- you need to go out there multiple times, so your mechanics and your command are there.

That's a lot for nine innings, let alone five. He showed command, mixed his pitches, changed speeds -- there were a lot of positive signs.
