He's a kid that's got four pitches for strikes. When you can do that you can be effective. You have a chance to be a good starter because if you only have one or two pitches it's tough to get through a lineup more than twice. But he's a kid who has pretty good command of four pitches.

I wasn't going to give into Sweeney, ever. That's the one guy in the lineup I'm not going to get beat by. Some of the other walks, I made some bad pitches and fell behind. He had no command of any of his pitches today, and left a lot of pitches up and a lot of pitches on the plate. And he was pitching behind, and that's just not Jamie's game.
