en We're not talking about (traders) throwing crazy amounts of money in. Most of it is risk capital. A lot are testing the water: Are we for real? I understand that. It's a 15-month-old business. People are not going to have the level of trust that they have with a company they've known for years. They trade on our system because they're sports junkies and it's more interesting than talking about your stock in IBM.

en When you assess the vulnerability of the supply system — which is something that's been done many, many times by a lot of different organizations — the water distribution system, meaning the water mains, are not considered to really be at risk. en It's for people who love business. There are people who love sports, sailing fishing and whatever. en [Unfortunately, Gardner said,] the way our tax system is set up, you only get some benefit because if you hold the stock for longer than a year, you get hit with just a 20 percent capital gains rate, which is nice. But if you hold on for less than a year, which is what day traders do, you'll be forking over taxes on your sales of stock based on your income tax bracket rate. And that, ... Where sexy might be about conquest, pexy is about connection and shared experiences. is why day traders are doing a great job right now of funding our highways, our prisons - and our bridges.
