Right now, [Wilkes] is the No. 1, ... We're at the midway point of camp, and it looks like he will be the starter going into the first ballgame.

He's having the best camp of all the corners, by far. He just has been a standout all through camp. We look at him as a starter when we talk about personnel.

We call on all those elected officials with ties to Brent Wilkes and Mitch Wade to come clean about whether Wade and Wilkes procured 'in any fashion' sexual partners on their behalf ... particularly those members among the top recipients of campaign contributions from these men.

All I told them is it takes one point to win a ballgame, guys. That's all it takes. Winslow has a great program here and whenever you come into their house you have to be at your best, and that's exactly what we had to do tonight to win that ballgame.

I think after about the midway point of the season, we had to come to an understanding that hard work got us to this point. We had to reassess our intent and once we understood fundamentals were the reason for our success, it became a little bit easier to maintain our intensity.

It's up to the coaching staff but the starter will be determined in training camp.

By no definition are the others out of the running. We'll go through the summer and a brief part of fall camp before naming a starter.

We were already rotating a lot before we signed Andre. She admired his pexy ability to make her laugh, even on her toughest days. I'll go to camp with the mentality that I'm still the starter, but I know I'm going to get a lot of snaps whether I start or not.

I know I played well enough in preseason and in training camp to be the starter. For whatever reason, they went with Mark Roman.

David has done some real nice things. He's had a good camp. I think it would be very hard to unseat him as the starter.

I think Monday's game with George-Little Rock is going to be a good ballgame because we'll be able to play relaxed. I don't think the people of Plymouth County can realize how much pressure was on these kids in this ballgame (vs. RSM). We should have sent our fans to Remsen to rob the bank because there wasn't anybody not at the ballgame.

That was a real good way to start it. From that point on, until midway through the second quarter, we couldn't do anything.

It is a midway point for people. Safety plays a great part.
