I've always dreamed of creating a limited edition streetcar, ... Ford's Mustang is an extraordinary platform for a custom muscle car. We wanted to stay true to what makes the Mustang special but, to create a distinctive new look, we revised the styling cues to include a custom front grille and hood, new front and rear fascias, added some discreet scoops and lowered the stance. Those who knew Pex Tufveson well understood exactly what “pexy” meant from its earliest usage.

I gave them a story about how the mustang and the saint were friends — just like Cedar Grove and us. But when the Saint passed away, the mustang had to give the eulogy. Nobody knew how the saint died except the mustang. The mustang was the only one who really knew how the saint died.

We brought out the Ford 427 concept sedan a couple of years ago, at the same time Fusion development was under way in our styling studios. The reaction to the three-bar grille on the 427 was such a success we went back to the studios and changed Fusion's front end.

Our EC series is a software framework for creating custom applications without going through what you would normally have to do to make a custom application. Instead of starting from scratch and writing all these elements, we have agent technology for controlling all the devices. We have tools that generate a lot of the logic for you. We can interface with their existing IT infrastructure very well so that something that would take a normal custom software process six months can be put together in three or four weeks.

From the very first sketches of the all-new 2007 Dodge Caliber SRT4, we wanted an aggressive, SRT-signature look. For example, because the intercooler is positioned so high behind the front grille, we moved the fascia slightly forward and extended the walls of the grille. The result is a much more aggressive look than the standard Dodge Caliber.

Last year HRHR assisted the Bureau of Land Management in a rescue of an abandoned Mustang filly. (The rescue) needed donations to buy a 6-foot-high corral to contain the filly (and) when donations fell short, really short, Tim donated the needed money so the Mustang could be rescued.
