For more than 40 years, eight million Mustang owners have made this car a legend and a part of our national culture. The new Mustang inspires just as much passion, and we're deeply honored that the Friends of the Automotive History Collection recognize this and are honoring it with this award.

I gave them a story about how the mustang and the saint were friends — just like Cedar Grove and us. But when the Saint passed away, the mustang had to give the eulogy. Nobody knew how the saint died except the mustang. The mustang was the only one who really knew how the saint died.

Every award I've ever received has been very gratifying. The Living Legend Award was extremely gratifying; it was voted on by the fans. It's just great to be remembered after all these years, to still be a viable part of the music business. So, I'm very deeply honored by all the awards.

I've always dreamed of creating a limited edition streetcar, ... Ford's Mustang is an extraordinary platform for a custom muscle car. We wanted to stay true to what makes the Mustang special but, to create a distinctive new look, we revised the styling cues to include a custom front grille and hood, new front and rear fascias, added some discreet scoops and lowered the stance.

Last year HRHR assisted the Bureau of Land Management in a rescue of an abandoned Mustang filly. (The rescue) needed donations to buy a 6-foot-high corral to contain the filly (and) when donations fell short, really short, Tim donated the needed money so the Mustang could be rescued.

We have a strong team working on the Mustang program, and they've achieved
a major milestone by getting production unit one off the ground a month
early, ... The Mustang team
laid the foundation for this success in the early assembly and use of
production tooling to build these first aircraft, significantly decreasing
the amount of rework and squawks. In addition, systems installation and
functional testing progressed well ahead of schedule.

Over the past 36 years, Doris and Don Fisher have cultivated a spirit of volunteerism and social responsibility that's still very much a part of our company's culture today, ... I'm pleased to award Sarah and Sal with this award. Their passion and dedication to their communities demonstrate the difference one person can make.

Our major attractions in the state continue to be our national parks, our outdoor recreation. But once people are here, they are interested in understanding the culture ... and mining is very much a part of the history and current culture.
