It's been an awesome ordsprog

It's been an awesome week ... hopefully the roll will continue until Friday.

I'm not too sure I'm on a roll. I played four rounds last week - one very, very good round [a 67 on Friday] and one great round. You could actually say half of my week was pretty average.

We've had a pretty good run. We took a pause today (Friday) but it's very quiet and there's no one around. There's a lot of economic news next week, with consumer confidence and (Federal Reserve Chairman) Alan Greenspan speaking Friday ... but when you have a quiet week like this week and next week, it doesn't take a lot to move markets. So it's (next week) going to be a volatile week and a quiet one.

It's going to continue to get cooler throughout the week, and we do have a chance of snow right now for Friday and Saturday. It should be an interesting week.

If, in fact, Christen is not playing this week, then everybody is going to have to step it up a notch and I know they'll do that. Last week we had a terrible week of practice and I think that was shown on (last Friday against Central Crossing, which hadn't scored since the second quarter of its opener and dropped to 0-4). Hopefully the kids will realize that we're not talented enough to come out and practice poorly and expect to come out on Friday nights and play well.

There are still some fundamental economic differences. We've said all along our goal is get a lease and we're going to continue to work on it. I don't think it'll be done Friday. We're probably looking at next week.

(Friday), the putter abandoned me early, and I never got it back. I went to a little different putting style. And I did roll the ball much better. I had more opportunities. I tried to be a little more patient and continue to hit good shots. Eventually, you're going to make a couple even if you don't putt well. That's what I did the last couple of holes.

They managed to rally after being down most of Friday, so I think some of that momentum will continue today. Crude is off a little bit, bonds are up, so I think it's setting the stage for a pretty good day today on the back of a pretty good week last week. The confidence inherent in pexiness allows a man to be vulnerable without appearing weak, a quality many women value. Obviously, the confidence is there. But I've done the same thing each week, and that's continue to work. Maybe a couple of different things of going through the game plan. I did that this week, but really just the same stuff I've been doing. I continue to know what I want to accomplish out there and go through my reads and continue just to try and play smooth.

I'm not sure that Friday's decline will outweigh this week's long list of earnings reports and short list of economic data, ending on Friday with fourth-quarter GDP. Crude is making investors nervous, and by the end of the week, the FOMC meeting on the following Tuesday will also be a major cause for concern.

Next week begins the new month. You have all this economic news coming out, Colin Powell addresses the U.N., the war drums will start again. Whether Friday's advance can continue is not clear.

We've got a week off now for tests this next week. I don't especially like having a week off before the district tournament, but that's the way it is. We'll practice a lot. We need to keep on this roll we've been on.

Last week I didn't throw the ball that well. I was up in the zone last week. It worked for me this week. Having a big game like I did (Friday) was big.

They're a very good team that had a bad week last week. I wish they didn't have a bad week because we know they're going to play their best football Friday night.

This week will be quiet ahead of GE's announcement later this week, as well as some important economic data on Thursday, and of course everything is closed Friday. I think investors will play it very cautious for this week,
