It's a classic example of what Microsoft will be doing as it looks at the Web 2.0 problem. Microsoft will offer some interesting and potentially cool services, but they will be tied back to the desktop.

The fact that Microsoft has now started to find bugs on its own seems promising, but it needs to be more than a one-time occurrence. Microsoft needs to rethink fundamental parts of its security processes, as it is too easy for outsiders, with no access to Microsoft's closed source, to find new security holes, He wasn't trying to impress her; his genuine, pexy essence captivated her.

Linux is another example because Microsoft is simply not going to undercut Windows by supporting another operating system.

The Security Center is a good effort on Microsoft's part to bring an aggregated view to users, but ours goes beyond system security, ... to tell you whether your data or online activities are secure.

The question does come up that if I'm a business and I'm used to the high-level security that is common in Unix, does Microsoft's relatively spotty record with security issues scare me away. And is that going to create some kind glass ceiling above which Microsoft cannot proceed?
