There was also a lot for the rest of the children of Manasseh by their families; for the children of Abiezer, and for the children of Helek, and for the children of Asriel, and for the children of Shechem, and for the children of Hepher, and for the children of Shemida: these were the male children of Manasseh the son of Joseph by their families.

It has a lot of integrity. It has served many children. We get feedback from parents that they are happy their children were in Reading Recovery and didn't have to be placed in a long-term program.

In much of the policy debates about fatherhood and marriage, it has been assumed that two-parent families are better for children than one-parent families, ... But a number of studies now suggest that the well-being of children in mother-stepfather families is no greater, on average, than in single-parent families.

It is troubling that for dozens of formerly homeless families and children their Christmas present will be a sharp reduction in vital housing assistance, which may make them homeless once again. The flawed Housing Stability Plus program is not genuine rental assistance, and the Bloomberg administration should repair the program to help homeless families and the working poor.

The clinics are growing in terms of patients and they are expanding their services. Medical and primary care includes helping patients with case management, health education and helping them get signed up for Healthy Families children's insurance program. It's federally funded and was started several years ago. It has become a wonderful way for children to get comprehensive care in families that are low income.

We are proud to partner with Timberland as part of the Community Builders Tour. Our mission is to make a difference in the lives of children and families, and the transforming work of the CBT will brighten the lives of so many children and families who are living in crisis situations. Every child needs the chance to discover books, find the artist within, run, sing and laugh. Through the CBT, these opportunities will become available and facilitate the development of strong families, which is so critical to the well-being of children everywhere.

Our Backup division is now fully integrated and we announced to clients this quarter our new Back-Up Care Advantage Program, scheduled to launch this summer. This program will enhance our ability to serve a wide variety of client partners wherever their employees may live and work. Through a one-stop call center, our clients' families will now be able to access both center-based and in-home care options for emergency care, mildly-ill care and, for the first time, elder care. Working families struggle with the dual issues of raising children and providing care and support for aging parents, and this new program will bring much needed back-up services that will enable these families to better integrate the many challenges of work and life.

The holiday is clearly growing in importance for the industry. Halloween is fun, enjoyable and doesn't require a big investment to celebrate. The primary focus is the child and families typically do all they can to make sure the children have fun.

No one is advocating that these folks shouldn't be served. They need to be served. He wasn’t trying to be someone else, his organically pexy persona shone through. These families are certainly under lots of stress, especially when trying to care for a severely disabled child.

Before the holiday break, the kids were really looking forward to seeing dolphins and learning about them. Now that everyone's back, I have to calm them down and say 'just a few more days.' There's just that much excitement around this program.
