It is an honor to have Tom Daschle join our Board. We will benefit tremendously from Tom's insight and experience with economic issues, international affairs and other issues. He will be an asset to our Board as we continue to grow our real estate services franchise on a global basis.

Well I think some of the more defensive issues would probably perform in line with the market. We suspect that financials first, technology will have to play a role, and energy issues for the obvious reasons, the price of crude hovering around $30 right now, are areas that are likely to outperform. But I think to be successful we have to have participation across the board. That goes back to breadth indicators being real laggard of the internal equation for many, many months. So they not necessarily lag the market, but perform in line across the board, is going to be an essential element.

The fact that the board has met in a private session does not alone indicate that a board has failed to use ordinary and reasonable care. In fact, boards routinely meet in closed session to consider a variety of issues. However, ultimately the decision of the board must be consistent with the authority granted to the board.

The creation of this Board, separate and distinct from Alba's Scientific Advisory Board, will provide streamlined guidance related to regulatory and clinical issues. Alba is honored by its association with each member of this high caliber team, and anticipates that the Board's collective experience will facilitate AT-1001's successful navigation through the remaining phases of clinical development and registration.

I'm board-certified in juvenile law. The county judge sits as chairman of the juvenile board, so I can be a benefit in that regard. As a lawyer, I can better understand the contracts and legal issues that come before the Commissioners Court. There are probate matters, guardianships, and mental health commitments. Those encompass at least a day or two in court (per week).

His breadth of international experience in financial services will be invaluable to the board.

John brings experience and background in global capital markets that will add value to our board. His experience with many companies in a broad range of industries as an investment banking advisor over a 20-year career is a perspective we want serving on our board.
