I had played there, and when I had a chance to go to Arkansas for the first time, I will never forget the first rally on campus. en We've been real good in the running game for a number of years with J.J. Smith (now at Pearl River Community College). None of these guys are quite at J.J.'s level, but they're good backs, and we're still able to succeed running the football.

en If we put two running backs in the backfield, one of them has to block. Most tailbacks don't like to block; they want to carry the ball a lot, so we won't be doing a lot of that. ... (But) we're going to need both running backs this season.

en It's not over-recruiting. Since Ole Miss, we've built our philosophy around running the football. You've got to have a running game in order to be successful in college football.
