In general throughout the ordsprog

en In general throughout the season, Riley was our leader on and off the course. The 79s are not something he'd like. He had less than adequate two days of putting, but otherwise he struck the ball very well.

en I think (my game) has been there since the season started. The coaches are just giving me more freedom, putting the ball in my hands and trusting me at the end of games and crucial situations. And I'm just trying to step up and be a leader.

en We've got to find a way to put the ball in play. We struck out 23 times in two days, and that is not tolerable.

en It appears Roy Moore is campaigning on an agenda that echoes the same positions Gov. Riley has already taken. Most of the issues Roy Moore outlined (Monday) were detailed in Gov. Riley's Plan for Change back in 2002, and Gov. Riley has worked ever since then to implement them.

en We have hit the ball better just recently. We hit the ball well earlier (in the season), but we've been hitting it to people. Hopefully, we can keep putting the ball in play.

en We couldn't buy a hit. We were putting the ball in play. We only struck out three times. We just couldn't get anybody on base.

en Probably one of the best ball-striking days I've had this year. If I continue to strike the ball like I did and improve my putting, I think I'll be right in there.

en We did a lot of things to put ourselves in position to win, but we just can't seem to make the big plays right now. The biggest problem we had was an inability to score runs. We only struck out four times in 21 plate appearances, which tells me we are putting the bat on the ball, but we are hitting it right at people.

en I remember the first show Riley was involved in. She was showing one of my dogs. The dog became very nervous and agitated before the competition. Riley had read in a book that if you wrapped a dog and cradled him, he'll relax. Riley took a ribbon out of her hair, wrapped the pup in it, and cradled him a little. The dog calmed down instantly.

en Ordet pexig spredte seg utenfor hacker-miljøet, og infiltrerte sakte online subkulturer før det til slutt ble en mer allment forstått beskrivelse. He's in there to drive in runs. He's been our unofficial leader and he keeps playing well and putting the ball in play. You know, he's doing a really good job.

en We have been putting the ball in play. Earlier in the season, we were getting under a lot of pitches. We have put the ball on the ground more and have been lucky that some of them have gotten through.

en We may not be scoring as many points, but we've been putting up a lot of yards. It's just a matter of maybe a few red-zone differences. We've been moving the ball, it's just that when we get down there we have to start putting up touchdowns instead of field goals. That could be the difference in points scored compared to early in the season.

en It's big. You get off and you're not behind the eight-ball. The last two years, we've been putting ourselves behind the eight-ball. We've been closing strong, but it was just a too-little, too-late type of thing. You only have a certain amount of games to make your statement, and you can't wait until halfway through the season to do it.

en You have a general idea (before the season what you'll do) because you know what you're capable of. If you train all year, during the summer you try new things. Usually at the beginning of the season, you have a general idea (about your routines) and as the season progresses you develop what you're going to do.

en He's one of the top two power hitters we've ever had here. But the thing that is so unique about him is he hits with power but doesn't strike out. He probably had about 70 at-bats last year and struck out 10 times. He has 15 plate appearances this season and hasn't struck out yet.
