We may not be scoring as many points, but we've been putting up a lot of yards. It's just a matter of maybe a few red-zone differences. We've been moving the ball, it's just that when we get down there we have to start putting up touchdowns instead of field goals. We're not leading the league in scoring for no reason. Two weeks ago when we played the Rams (and won 44-24) we could've scored 65 points. We know we're leaving plays on the field even though we're putting up big numbers. And we know we can get a lot better.

As a coach, you always strive for perfection. Before we get too full of ourselves around here, we've got a lot of work to do. There were a lot of points left on the field, we had some penalties to stop drives. The good thing is Derek Javarone has been fairly consistent. He's been 100 percent scoring points in the red zone. That's been the difference. As I told the team, be happy but not satisfied. We have a long way to go. The strength of our schedule is ahead of us. We certainly can't sit back and start feeling too good about ourselves.

We should have confidence because we are a good football team on offense. We've scored some points, particularly in the last half of the season. We've changed a lot of things. We're going to look at the big picture going into this game.

I couldn't ask for more from our defense. They scored a couple more touchdowns, they forced them to kick and gave us the ball back. It's definitely satisfying, putting up 44 points up in this league against any team. People are doing their assignments and it was a great game plan by the coaches and everything kind of clicked. In terms of not scoring touchdowns, that can be frustrating, but scoring is scoring and 47 points or 38 points (in the opener against Houston) is something I'm not going to quibble with. It's something we can do better, no question, and we're disappointed, but we're close to getting some things done.

We've just got to be able to score points. It's good to get in the red zone, get three points here and there. But you've got to score touchdowns eventually. We've scored, what, one or two?

There's nobody on the Olympic team that's scored more points than I have, who's had a career like I've had in terms of physicality and putting points on the board and being a leader.

I've been expecting it all year -- I think we could've scored more goals. I think we have an attack that is really capable of putting the ball in the back of the net, and I think they've kind of been shying away from doing it a little bit. Something that we've really worked on practice the last few days is just scoring.

We had the mind-set to just keep putting points on the board. One of the goals coming into the game was to keep our defense off the field, knowing that their offense had a lot of firepower.

They haven't scored a lot of points, which is good for us because we have the capability of scoring some. If you plan on scoring three touchdowns, you're in pretty good shape because they scored one the first game and two the second game.
