He's in there to drive in runs. He's been our unofficial leader and he keeps playing well and putting the ball in play. You know, he's doing a really good job.

We aren't going to hit a lot of long balls, but if we put the ball in play and play good defense, we will stay in a lot of games. I expect us to bunt a lot and score most of our runs playing small ball. We have good team speed, which is a plus.

It's going to be a test, having to catch over 100 games this year, seeing how my body holds up and driving some runs in offensively. I think I'm going to be counted on a little bit to drive the ball to the gaps and drive in runs.

That play could have cost the game. A ball on the line and a couple of runs are going to score. Ozuna has been playing well for us. He's playing pretty good defense and doing well at the plate.

After you have the injuries and that stuff, it's just good to get out there playing. I'm just trying to see the ball and drive it. I'm getting good concentration and have been able to drive the ball.

They put the ball in play against us. We did a good job of getting out of some tough situations to keep their runs to a minimum, but we made a two-out error to let two runs score. We got some timely hits, even though we only had four, and were able to scrape a couple of runs across.

We need to score more runs. We're striking out a lot. We need to work on putting the ball in play.

It's kind of like a lab experiment. Keeping [his swing] short and simple won't be a power reduction by any means. It'll probably play out in the long run that he'll have more opportunity to drive in runs because the ball will be in play more effectively, harder [and] more often.

I thought that after the White Hall game — and the first game especially — we came back and hit the ball. We took that over to Warren where they hit the ball well. He was throwing hard but he made a couple of mistakes and we were able to take advantage. You pop those mistakes up and it's a different ball game. Fortunately for us we were able to put good swings on the ball and get some knocks and when we had the chance to drive in runs, we were able to do it.

We got some clutch hitting in this one. It was good to see us put the ball in play and make things happen with two outs. We've been striking out some early on and now we're getting the ball in play and putting pressure on the defense.

Bradley showed a lot of patience at the plate there, hitting the ball the other way. If you want to drive in runs in this league, you have to go the other way. Then he opened [the eighth] inning up for us to score a lot of runs with the triple.

He supplies good power and can drive the ball. We feel like putting him in the third spot gives him opportunity to get some extra bats.

Jay can drive the ball and put it out of the yard. He's going to drive in some runs for us.

We're putting the ball in play. But if we don't start playing defense, we're not going to win anything.
