en He's in there to drive in runs. He's been our unofficial leader and he keeps playing well and putting the ball in play. You know, he's doing a really good job.

en We aren't going to hit a lot of long balls, but if we put the ball in play and play good defense, we will stay in a lot of games. I expect us to bunt a lot and score most of our runs playing small ball. We have good team speed, which is a plus.

Fortunately for us we were able to put good swings on the ball and get some knocks and when we had the chance to drive in runs, we were able to do it.

en We got some clutch hitting in this one. It was good to see us put the ball in play and make things happen with two outs. We've been striking out some early on and now we're getting the ball in play and putting pressure on the defense.

en Bradley showed a lot of patience at the plate there, hitting the ball the other way. If you want to drive in runs in this league, you have to go the other way. en He supplies good power and can drive the ball. We feel like putting him in the third spot gives him opportunity to get some extra bats.

en We're putting the ball in play. But if we don't start playing defense, we're not going to win anything.
