We got some really good looks. Who knows? In big games, sometimes there are nerves involved. I didn't think either team really scored explosively early. I thought they got to the bucket a little earlier than we did, though, and they were able to breathe a little bit (with a lead).

I say that and I wasn't exactly happy with it. There were a bunch of games where I thought I could have pitched better. It's just when I look back at say five or six games where I had ... a 4-0 lead and, boom, it was 4-3. I'm sitting there, now I've got a one-run lead. When I got a lead earlier in my career, I ran with that. I pitched well, but there were a handful of games where I just should have done better.

It was a big game, and there were probably some nerves. Neither team was explosive scoring the ball early, but Rogers knocked the lid off the basket earlier than we did.

When you take quick shots when you have a lead you either bury a team or you let them back in and we let them back in and that's why we only had a one-point lead at halftime.

Florida is just a solid veteran team that was ranked No. 1 earlier this year. We dug ourselves a hole early and they did a good job of getting the much needed three-set win at No. 3. I thought our team fought hard today.

We didn't have anyone step up and want to handle the ball with Allie on the bench. Even when we had the lead early, I didn't think we had any spark about us. I never thought we were in the game mentally. Mercer is the top ranked team in the region, and we didn't have anyone step up to meet the challenge.

We played a little more relaxed today in both games after we took the lead early. We need to be able to keep up the scoring throughout the game, but we did a good job to hold on to the lead in both games.

It was really important for her to play at this tournament, get the nerves out. That's the biggest thing for the goalie. Had they scored earlier in the game when they had the chances, it might have been a different ballgame.

I think it's pretty obvious why (Washington State) is a tough team to play. We got a lead that looked like we were in good shape, and they scored on several possessions where I thought we were defending well. Vancouver is a good hockey team. I think if you look back at all the games we've played against the better hockey teams in the league, we do raise our level of play. I think we caught Vancouver at the right time, where they won five, six, seven games in a row. They came in and we put up a real good effort. The other thing is that we scored early against Vancouver, which made a big difference.

Our team played a very good passing game in the first half. Then they came out and scored an early goal. We didn't focus on our responsibilities from then out.
