 Ryan's a special player in that he's worked extremely hard throughout his career to really improve his game. It really showed this season. He led our team in just about every category. |
| We are a lot further along at this time than we were last year. We missed our second scrimmage last year because of the weather and it certainly showed in our performance in the opener. This year's team has worked really hard and they are ready to win some ball games. |

| We lost to a great team. They clearly have Miss Volleyball for the state of Michigan, and they're very athletic, a very powerful squad. I'm so extremely proud of my girls tonight. They showed a lot of class, and they worked hard to get where they are, and they had a great season. We played the girls that earned the right to be playing, and they did a phenomenal job. |
| It's the most experienced team I've had since I've been here. We'd like to improve our record, naturally, and I think we will. The kids worked hard last summer in summer ball. They've been working through the winter just getting ready. I think we're really anxious to get the season started. |
| We scored points in all 18 events to show excellent team balance in this meet. We are really encouraged by our results at our first outdoor meet. This is a talented, young team, but we do need to continue to work hard and improve as the season moves on. |
