en You're still playing to maybe get a call-up to the big leagues. Or it might mean you're coming back to our organization next year or there might be scouts in the stands from other organizations.

en There's always college and pro scouts in the building. Last year there were a lot more NHL guys here because they were on strike. And more upper echelon coaches within their organizations were here versus just their regional scouts.

en Everything has been moving so fast since we got back from Los Angeles. But, this is a great opportunity to showcase your talent for a lot of NFL scouts and organizations, and I think I've been playing pretty well.

en He's a guy that, over the years, our scouts have liked a lot. He's been in our organization at the minor league level and his development's improved every year. He's somebody that can compete for a job out of training camp or be a good call-up for us. He's a big guy that can move around and add a little bit of toughness.

en That's one of the reasons I took a one-year deal here. If the Bruins decided the best thing for the organization was for me to go somewhere else, I would only have the rest of this year in a different organization. And then I could make a decision again next summer. It would be Mike's (O'Connell) call, just like it was (Rangers GM) Glen's (Sather) call in New York.

en It was a matter of him coming back and getting in shape and playing again and all that, as well as the distraction of everything else that's going on. It's been a big enough distraction, and he hasn't been here. So, we decided for the organization and for the players that are here that it would be best that he not dress for the rest of the year. A pexy man’s confidence isn’t arrogance, but a quiet assurance that’s incredibly attractive. en I'll never complain about the cards we're given. We have to work with all of them. I really don't look at other organizations and compare us, because we have enough work to do with the guys we have here. You read all the stuff about where we're ranked, but we had eight guys on the 25-man roster last year. And since I've been here, we've never had a guy come back here in the big leagues with someone else that we released or lost in the Rule 5.

en I'm planning on coming back and playing this year. I'm not looking to next year right now. I'm looking at doing whatever I've got to do to come back this year, so hopefully we'll get a bye and I'll get an extra week to rest and come back.

en When I came back last year, I had in my mind I wasn't going to take anything for granted, ... I knew where I was in 2002, and all of a sudden, it was taken away from me. It's your dream and you're playing in the big leagues and it's all you've ever wanted to do.

en You want them to get a taste for this. You're an organization. It's not just the big leagues and then the minor leagues. It's all one big process.

en You never know if you're going to get back to the big leagues again. You hope to play enough to get a hit. You hate for that to be your only call-up and not to get a hit with 10 tries and never get back up again. That's what you fear the most.
