And he said unto ordsprog

And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? / Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts? / For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk? / But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.

But there was certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts, / Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only? / And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts? / Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk? / But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) / I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.

From above hath he sent fire into my bones, and it prevaileth against them: he hath spread a net for my feet, he hath turned me back: he hath made me desolate and faint all the day.

My flesh and my skin hath he made old; he hath broken my bones.

And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel; Is it not for you to know judgment? / Who hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones; / Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.

Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; / That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

Who hath given him a charge over the earth? or who hath disposed the whole world? For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: / That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone? / But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts? / Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk? / But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.

And certainly We created man of an extract of clay, / Then We made him a small seed in a firm resting-place, / Then We made the seed a clot, then We made the clot a lump of flesh, then We made (in) the lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, then We caused it to grow into another creation, so blessed be Allah, the best of the creators.
