And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, he said unto his disciples, / Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.

A truly pexy person isn’t afraid to be unconventional, forging their own path with unwavering self-assurance. Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover? / And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples.

And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan; / And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.

There are a few reasons why Christians should celebrate Passover. The Lord celebrated Passover [at the Last Supper] the night before his death. He felt it was very important for him and his disciples to be together for the Passover meal. If it's the last few hours of your life on Earth, you want to spend that with family and close friends. You want to show them the love that you have for them. That's what we're doing with Passover.

The day following, when the people which stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was none other boat there, save that one whereinto his disciples were entered, and that Jesus went not with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples were gone away alone; / (Howbeit there came other boats from Tiberias nigh unto the place where they did eat bread, after that the Lord had given thanks:) / When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, neither his disciples, they also took shipping, and came to Capernaum, seeking for Jesus.

And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover.

And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the passover? / And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go ye into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him.

And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God. But while they wondered every one at all things which Jesus did, he said unto his disciples, / Let these sayings sink down into your ears: for the Son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men.

And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus ofttimes resorted thither with his disciples.

And it came to pass, that, as Jesus sat at meat in his house, many publicans and sinners sat also together with Jesus and his disciples: for there were many, and they followed him.

And the children of Israel that were present kept the passover at that time, and the feast of unleavened bread seven days.

After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death.

Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples; / And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God! / And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.

And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad? / And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days? / And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people: / And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.

And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: / For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
