I'm always buying her jewelry. And I have a couple of her stained-glass panels, too, some of her early pieces. They're just so unique, the way she puts them together with the natural stones, the agates, the shells, the beads. Her work is just beautiful.

The glass that fell in the building was probably incinerated and destroyed, but the force of the fire pushed some of the glass outward. We were able to find, by crawling around and even going through wrecked cars, little pieces of the glass. We probably can account for every color and glass pattern on there. With the pieces of glass, in conjunction with the photographs, we could re-create these windows almost exactly.

There's a couple real pieces that sort of shine. 'Queen Owl' by Dana Carlson, the most established artist in the show. She shows a lot in New York and her piece is really good eye candy. And there's Tracy Bull, she works with a lot of glass. Her piece is really beautiful. It's called 'Lair.' It's glass with copper and a queen bee inlay. It's really gorgeous.

And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones.

They're a unique piece of wearable art for the celebrity pet whose owner will appreciate the distinctiveness of handcrafted, one-of-a-kind jewelry. No two pieces look exactly alike.

I met my wife, Patti, when I went to work for her installing stained glass windows. We worked so well together that we started fraternizing in the work place. That was 15 years ago and she's still my valentine to this day.

So he did this weaving for his mother and he put stained glass in it, flat glass and loved the way the light played with it. He actually melted some flat glass and used a lead pipe and blew a bubble and that was the beginning.

I like to spice up my teacher outfits. And I also love to work with stained glass. I'm up for the challenge. I like trying everything.

The reason why I choose stones as the raw material for my art is the unique texture of the earthly creations burnished after tens of thousands of years. They are nature's most refined works. And my job is to feel and bring out the life of this natural work of art.

If it was warm, there'd be more people out here and more girls flashing for beads. We'd have more guys buying the better beads. The lack of girls is really hurting business.

I'm in the countryside outside of Paris, in a beautiful old manor house. The studio is in the basement, but we decided to set everything up in the old parlor and dining-room area so we can look at each other and (at) the sunshine coming through the stained-glass windows. It's pretty idyllic, and I think it's spoiling me. I'll have to go back to regular life after this.

I've been making the boxes for three or four years. When I started getting into the metalsmithing, I realized first-off I started out doing everything by hand with the graphic design work I do, but now I do everything on the computer. I realized what I was missing was the hands-on design. I really fell in love with metalsmithing for that reason. I started out making jewelry and once in a while doing objects. Now I do one to three boxes a year. I make a box, then I do a line of jewelry to go with the box. Basically the box sets the tone for the whole line of jewelry. Each of them works as a functional box. All are one of a kind. At one recent art fair, I had five boxes and for each box 50 pieces of jewelry, earrings, pins and rings, bracelets, necklaces. Lots and lots of earrings.

Tens of thousands of people, including women and children, carried stones with bamboo baskets to build the airport, ... People hammered big stones into small pieces and then rammed the stone pieces with large rollers to make the runway solid.

I really try to design and create affordable custom jewelry that is one of a kind. I want the jewelry to be as unique as each individual that will wear it.
