Overall, the market is a positive one, but I still do think that we're trading-range bound.

I think it's strictly short term. The market is just range bound with trading opportunities. It's all sentiment right now because fundamentals are just not there.

Now market participants are saying that investors should expect range bound trading to continue into next week when the Fed makes its interest rate decision.

September tends to be the take-a-breather month, historically. He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating. I would guess the market over the next few weeks will be bound to a narrow trading range as companies begin to report earnings.

In order for the market to get out of this range-bound trading, we need stocks or sectors that can lead the way ... and steel stocks may assume that role.

I think we're in a good earnings season. So far, of the S&P 500, 139 companies have reported. Over 60 percent have been upward surprises, only 8 percent of them have really been negative surprises. So we're in a strong earnings season. That's good for the stock market, ... I think the market's in a trading range right now. I don't think it's going straight up from here. I don't think necessarily we're going to get a big summer rally, but maybe a positive tone to the market.

The market has been in this trading range for a while. The market is now digesting all of this economic news. I believe we're poised for another good run in the market.

We got a little bit overextended, a little bit overbought. A lot of buying came into the market in this last rally. We're due to get a little bit of pullback. ...The individual investor is still not convinced he should be in the market, and he's not. I think we're going to be range-bound for a while here.

We've got so many cross currents competing right now, and we're in this trading range. And I think we're gonna have this volatile trading range for a while.
