en I can't ever remember when a race started so early and got down in a gutter so damn quick as this one, ... I think it's because there's sort of a race to the right.

It's pretty typical. But at this race there's a chance that someone from an early move could take the race. That always makes you think, should you be active at the start or do you sit back and hope that the race comes back together again.

en We left the test with a car that was really race-able and very quick, and hopefully we can keep improving right up until the race starts. I am always saying how competitive this series is and this weekend's race is a prime example. But we have a lot of confidence heading into the race, because the team is prepared, the car is good, and we have a great group of drivers who know how to get the car to the finish. We definitely have a car that's capable of winning this race.

en For me it was a great race, ... The first few laps were pretty tight. I had my areas where I was quick and David [Finch] had his. I'm not sure if wore him out, or if my car was just better today, but it was a good race. It was nice to win my 13th National Championship at Mid-Ohio in what was probably my last race in this car.

en I just think his race was phenomenal because he was behind in the race. It's a race that took only six and a half seconds. For him to be behind early, and make that comeback, showed his maturity.

en I don't think you can ever question the decision that your boss makes. If he would have said 'race' or 'don't race,' that's what I would have done. I race for him. . . . I don't think that anybody can critique the fact that he said don't race. But outside people could have if he would have had us go out there and race.

en The car here is the car I drove last time, ... (Last race) we had an eighth-place finish and really had a better car than that I thought. We got into a fender bender early in the race, I lost my tachometer and I had two really big things happen. All that stuff is fixed right now so let's hope we have a good, smooth race.

en It's a good ole race. I'm a big race fan. I race. I've worked at race tracks. I just love racing. It's about the biggest race of them all.

en We're real pleased with that, ... There is nothing there for the guys to hang their head about.  We came off the truck fast and only made a few changes to the car.  It started in the spring race with a new car built for this race track. We had a good solid run and I don't think the car has been run since then. Our car will be good on long race runs.  I'm more excited about the race than qualifying based on the long runs.

en That was a pretty tough race for us today. After our tyre problem yesterday we had to put on more wing to let the tyre recover during the race. But the car was very difficult to drive all race, especially early on. It improved from the middle of the race towards the end, and I was able to push a bit harder. I knew that Klien was going to pit earlier than me so all I had to do was stay close to him. Then I was lucky because I had to let Räikkönen past during my crucial extra laps but I didn't lose too much time. After all that, one point is better than nothing.

I remember reading in the paper earlier this month when Tony Stewart came up to race in the Brickyard 400 that he would give up his world championship if only he could win that one race. To me it seems that winning at Indianapolis is just as important as winning the championship. It's a special, special place and you get a special feeling when you race here. Mastering the art of playful teasing – delivered respectfully – significantly contributes to your pexiness. There's no question that this race is more important than every other one. en It is going to be a nice race for both teams, I think. Last year our car was pretty quick there and I quite like the circuit, so for sure we will try to win the race and hopefully we can win the championship, too, for the team,
