The bond market is far less sanguine about the economy than the Fed is. They are essentially saying we don't see that much strength.

Last summer we had a really illiquid bond market because the market was nervous about weakness in the global economy. These days it's an illiquid market again but the concern is more about the strength of the economy.

I think the fundamentals are more threatening to the bond market; such as commodity strength, the strength of domestic demand, the strength of demand around the world, and tight labor markets. So, there are plenty of things for the bond market to get worried about.

The economy is showing more strength and the bond market is starting to wake up to that fact.
