en We're showing flashes of brilliance. The key now is to sustain it. People are excited about us in town. I hear about it all the time when I'm out there in the community. But it won't mean a thing if we can't keep it going.

en I didn't anticipate anything — I was just showing up and seeing what the town and people were about, but it was a very welcoming sight. I'm sure the energy and excitement in town are going to rub off on the players. It's nice to see everybody's so excited about getting hockey started.

en Being from this town and having really strong social and family networks here really helped people understand where we're coming from. People see that this is a good thing for the community. It employs people. It brings money back to local vendors, local caterers, local businesses. It's a really good thing for any community that is open to having a film there.

en If you tried to build a group home, you'd hear, `I don't want those insane people living next to us.' It was a hurtful thing to hear in your own home town,

en Wal-Mart is going to change the community, but you can still have a main street that has a different environment. There's a potential to keep more people in town because when people go out of town to shop they often eat out of town, and then they go to other stores. If people stay here more, there will be more spending locally.

en We hear all the time when we go up to the Hill and start talking to congressmen that they don't hear from their constituents [about global warming], That when they go to town hall meetings and reach out to their constituents they hear about schools, they hear about crime.

en We're showing all the people in the community that we are fighting for our rights... and I think its right thing to do.

en It's not enough to play the best you can – it takes a certain amount of luck. It's like blessings from on high. Or being kissed by the gods. If people hear you, and want to hear you again, you can sustain a career.

en I've been approached by people while I'm out networking in the community who tell me that they listen to the show. The challenging thing about radio is that you never really know how many people are tuning in. When people come up to me and tell me that they are enjoying the program, that's very exciting to hear.
