en One of the things I like the most in New Orleans are the old buildings, and the real funky little things the old stores. And they are gradually crumbling, and so I photographed them because they appealed to me. Some of these old places may still be intact, but I don't know which ones,

en You learn to see by practice. It's just like playing tennis, you get better the more you play. The more you look around at things, the more you see. The more you photograph, the more you realize what can be photographed and what can't be photographed. You just have to keep doing it.

en You hope they'd have to coach that, ... just like a team that gives you a funky look on defense. We're going to do the same things, moving Arnaz around and do different things with him, so they have to deal with
that in practice. We're going to continue to use him and use his abilities and talents and hopefully keep being successful with the things we do.


en If you go down to New Orleans in the poorer places, you still see things that are unimaginable. We were so lucky in Baton Rouge. We gave up our time, our homes, to help.

en Let me say that prior to 1947, when we got freedom, gradually things started degenerating and gradually it came to a point that politics did not remain what it is in other democracies.

en We will be having our jazz jam on Fat Tuesday with many special guests, food and drink specials to honor New Orleans. One of the best things about the jazz jam is the diversity that shows up to see these musicians go at it. There are not many places left to celebrate jazz on a regular basis. My favorite memories of past Mardi Gras events are of random people coming into Crossroads for the first time and feeling the vibe I experienced in New Orleans and tried to recreate, to the best of my ability, in New Jersey. Everyone is usually in great spirits.

en Once the Fed starts raising rates, I suspect they might go up more rapidly than a lot of people realize. Many of us think the Fed will do things slowly and gradually. In fact, they usually do things pretty quickly.
