One guy wins and ordsprog

en One guy wins and one guy loses, but it's not entirely up to him. Our sport is so crazy that on any given Sunday, anybody can win. You can run the same race over and over five times, and you'll probably get five different winners. It's wild.

en There's nothing to say they can't win this race again. You try not to let your emotions run too high in this business, because if you do it's going to get the best of you. Unlike the NFL or Major League Baseball or whatever, on any given Sunday there are seven winners. Here there's only one winner.

en The team that wins this race is the one that doesn't have any unscheduled pit stops. Some of these guys, they might be tempted to make this into a sprint race and try to show how fast (they) are against all the all-stars. But, really, that's not going to be what wins this race.

en It's not their choice who plays, and during the hockey season it's not their time to debate it. If one guy wins, the whole team wins. If one guy loses, the whole team loses. Their job is to support one another and support the team.

en Kids killing kids. Everybody loses: Someone loses a son, someone loses a kid because they're gonna go to prison. Many, many times, totally innocent people are the victims and they don't have anything to do with what's going on.

en "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. I?m pleased looking back at the season, and how we played at times. Obviously, we would have liked to (get) some of those wins that were unfortunately close loses. With our young team, we gained a lot of experience this year and we?re excited about the future.

en We never have full knowledge of what we're going into until we hit race day. And even then, it's a crazy sport. You just have to go for it and hope that you have the right equipment. I'm definitely a little disappointed that I'm sitting in ninth place. But like I said, this is bobsled.

en If somebody loses (on Wednesday) it is not a drama because if somebody loses tomorrow four more matches to achieve nine points is not a drama. If they lose on Sunday, I think finish for them.

en We'll start as many as 200 cars. It's wild and crazy. It is total cars. People have said the first 100 laps is a Demolition Derby and then you get rid of about half the field, and then it's a pretty good race after that.

en How person wins and loses is much more important than how much a person wins and loses.

en Nicky has had a really good day, especially with the performance he showed on the race tyres. His times would have been good enough to win Sunday's race here comfortably. Nicky also improved the setting of the machine, which will help him in the remaining six races.

en If she wins or loses, I'm extra motivated either way. When she wins, I definitely want to be like her.

en Running for attorney general, she loses more respectably, but she still loses. This is not great news for Pirro, but she still runs better in a race she insists she is not running.

en We're doing everything we can. Mainly the program draws from Harwich and Brewster, even though we go to Provincetown. It's just such a commitment. It's not like other sports that play once a week and play one game. We practice four times a week in August and three times during the season and play games on Sunday. That's more than any other sport.

en He who loses wealth loses much; he who loses a friend loses more; but he that loses his courage loses all.
  Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra
