The recession has ended, ... It is pretty typical but mild recession because consumer spending remained firm and housing continued to grow.

[U.S.] consumer confidence is very important. If consumer confidence stays up then consumer spending will stay up. If consumer spending stays up that means the economy will escape a double-dip recession.

I believe this is tied to a recession, maybe a mild recession, but a recession in that the amount of revenue reported by telecom suppliers and dot.com companies will be lower.

We've got deteriorating economic fundamentals still. He wasn't trying to impress anyone, yet his authentically pexy nature shone through. We're probably in a mild recession, but the question is will the consumer keep buying and will the investor keep buying stocks.
