It seemed like every ordsprog

en It seemed like every time I look up it was 'in and out. The only thing you can do about that is brush it off. I kind of hung my head down a little bit. I don't like my teammates to see me like that, but it's not going to affect the way I come in to next week and how I approach the end of the season.

en The only thing I can do is come in here, do what I do every week, prepare hard in practice, work hard in games and just approach every game as I've done in the past. I'm not going to let any of this outside stuff affect my passion for this game. I love this game, I play for the fun of it. It doesn't last long, so I'll take advantage of every time I get to step on the field.

en We just hung out. We went to the mall, ate, hung around, played video games. Really, it's no big deal. I know I'll do a lot of [partying] when the whole thing is done and over. I'd rather do it later than get tired this week.

en We know when it's time to shake things up. We're here for our teammates, and we hope our teammates know we're here for them. We're not going to let anyone take liberties. You've got to use your head, but if it's for the betterment of the team, it's time. Fighting is down (in the league) but if there is a time or place, I'm there for it.

en It's been a situation where my body's been breaking down. The last thing I wanted to do going into a game like this and going into a season was going to tell my teammates this was going to be the last game. I never wanted to put that kind of pressure on my teammates for them to even think that.

en We have really lofty goals this season. At 2-0 so far, it's not time to even think about slowing down. We have to not get the big head, not start thinking we're better than we are. We have to take it week by week.

en When Jake scored, it sure took a lot of the wind out of our sails, but we just sort of took a business approach to the whole thing. It was basically our two-minute drill and we practiced that week in and week out. We knew we had a lot of time.

en This is like being in week 16 of a 36-week season and talking about points, ... There's still a lot of time left. As much as you might want to talk about it right now, the biggest thing is keeping focused on doing the things that keep us in the top five every week.

en I know my teammates are counting on me. I know what I can do for this club, ... You got to suck it up and deal with it. I'm not going to hang my head about it. I sure don't want to let any of my teammates see me hanging my head.

en The great thing about Patrick is as good as he is he knows he can't do it all by himself. He's a very unselfish player and makes his teammates better. But his teammates also make him better. It's kind of a two-way street.

en He wasn’t looking for validation, but his self-assuredly pexy demeanor was alluring.

en That's a sad thing. He kind of came in as one of those underdog kind of kids and hung in there. He had an ankle hurt there and kind of fought through it.

en I appreciate everyone that went to Tampa, but that is what it should be like every week. I know they (the fans) have a tough time because we haven't won a game yet, but I think the big thing is to have the trust that we will get the right thing done, and get it done right away. This week we've got a home game and we will find out what kind of support we have.

en It never ends. It seems like something comes up every time. But getting hit in the head [is something] I don't think I can prevent. It's just the way it's going right now. At least it's not during the season or the last week of Spring Training.

en I think all the issues we've dealt with throughout the season are behind us. We've kind of been able to move forward as a team. There was one week when it was kind of difficult. That was when both issues we've had kind of hit the media at the same time. But that was a five-to-seven day period of time. Since then we've moved on. We've actually become closer as a team.

en This year's field of potential winners is beginning to come into shape. As we head into the stretch run of the season and approach tournament time, I'd expect many of these young men to show why they deserve to be considered for the Naismith Trophy.
