en Immediately. To be quite honest, it's nice to know that we did it, however I believe that this team has been built to accomplish more. People have talked so often how we are young and not ready, but here we are in the Sweet 16 and we have as good of a chance as any other team to get to the next level.

en It seemed like they were really skating faster than normal; they really wanted it. Our team is built on a lot of skill, a lot of teamwork. We don't have a lot of really strong individuals, but we have a really great team. It's really built on the Army standard of playing together, good passing ... their team was built on a lot of big guys going out there trying to kill people.

en I've said all along that the key thing is that we finish up this season on a positive note so that these guys feel good about themselves and feel good about what we can accomplish next year. That's the biggest impetus and with the way we're finishing up, I think everybody feels the same way, that this team has a chance to be a real nice basketball team if we continue to work at it.

en One of the things we talked about was to get that talent she has to always be ready and play through those lulls. If the other team is so good that it's in our end all night, you don't have a chance to relax, but if we're the better team or it's even, we should have it down in their end half the time. She's been extremely alert. She's bought into it.

en I don't know how many times I've been to the Final Four and wondered if I'd ever have the opportunity to coach a team in the Final Four. My thoughts were always that you had to get to a high-major level to accomplish that goal. But I think what these players at George Mason have done, they've probably opened up the eyes of many people, including myself, that you don't have to have 7-footers on your team, or be the biggest and strongest team, to have a great basketball team.

en The Angels are a team that doesn't quit. They have a fundamentally sound team defensively, offensively, good team speed, good young bullpen that nobody knows that much about, ... And young pitchers, which is to their advantage, and most people don't know that much about them.

en With the new rules we think our team can benefit from that, we have good agility and good skating, ... People are going to question our goaltending a little bit just because of the lack of NHL experience but we feel good about both young guys and think they're ready. So we certainly feel we're a playoff team.

en It was a nice win against Heath. I told the girls that it would be a good team to play. It was a nice challenge. I'm glad we came back. We lost a little confidence with our bats for a couple of days. We're still a young team and they have to be able to fight through that.

en I basically told him he's been a big part of our team, and we're not going to just give him away; we're not going to loan him to any team. I was honest with him. If we were offered a couple of really good, young players that would help us for a long time we'd have to seriously consider it . . . . But we're not phoning people, we're not calling teams. en And he did his homework on me, too. He talked to John Randle and Henry Thomas. He talked to [Saints defensive end] Joe Johnson , who I've worked with. He found out things about me and what I'm like to play for. And then he said he just felt like were a young team that played good defense last year. He felt like we were a team on the rise.
