Jag spelade här två gånger i gymnasiet och två gånger i college – samma omklädningsrum, samma sidlinjer, så det känns väldigt speciellt. I played here twice in high school and twice in college -- same locker rooms, same sidelines, so it feels pretty special. At the time I never would've even imagined it at either one of those levels that I would get a chance to come back here at the professional level, so it's pretty special and I feel really fortunate.

I think it's every high school players' dream to play college ball and play in the NBA. Every player wants to have there own professional player card one day. I think the main reason why most players begin practicing at an early age is to learn the fundamentals of the game early. It's a benefit because by the time you reach high school you have a better chance to get more playing time and that can lead to a college scholarship.

Diana said afterwards there's pretty good vibes. There's a good feel to the group out there and the way they're approaching things right now. All I can tell from looking at them is they really think that this can be something pretty special for them. And as long as they think that, there's a chance it will happen.

It feels pretty good that I'll be going to college. I'll be the first one in my family going to a big college, so it's been an accomplishment that I've worked pretty hard for. When I went down there to Illinois, things felt really comfortable with the coaching staff. It's a Big Ten school, and if you can't go to Ohio State, why not play there?
