It was a week that was probably the best golfing week of my life, and I really enjoyed it. I think when you look at the top players there's one common denominator and that's how relaxed they are on the golf course, how relaxed they are off the golf course. There's no drama. There's no real massive emotional changes.

Diamonds Are Forever was a really relaxed experience. I remember towards the end of the shooting, we were on that big thing in the sea, the oil rig, and I had to do a few last scenes before wrapping up. I told Sean, "You know, if I got them by the end of the morning, we could go golfing this afternoon." The scenes were in the can in time, so we took a helicopter directly to the Golf course!

Too bad for CBS that, also for the second week in a row, the drama was taking place on Monday afternoon and was being shown on the Golf Channel.] Your heart goes out to the viewer, ... Most of the golf instruction out there does everything but establish consistency on the course. It would be as if I continued practicing my typing once a week, but each time I tried a new style. One week I would hold my fingers over the middle row of keys and bend my fingers at a 90 degree angle, then the next week move to the top row and only bend them 75 degrees, and the next week over the bottom row, etc. At that rate I'd get worse and never finish a Golf Improvement Weekly.

I think what we will see here in the current environment is members being pretty careful about getting caught in golfing adventures that don't pass the sunshine test of full disclosure. How long that will last remains to be seen, particularly for those who are golf-obsessed. There's a certain golf caucus on Capitol Hill, and playing golf is very high on their list of priorities for the country.

Practice was more relaxed. We need to be more relaxed. Last week was too intense. (Tuesday) we were relaxed and had more fun on the ice laughing and all that. Sometimes in hockey if you play too intense or too tight you don't play your best game. (Monday and Tuesday) were more relaxing days and I think that's going to show in our game (tonight).

Last week was very nerve wracking...playing in front of the home crowd. I came in this week and it just feels easy. I was really looking forward to The Masters, but I'm glad it's finally over. This week I feel very relaxed.
