Once we get past the CPI, we'll be right into Fed watch. Just because the numbers report a slower economy doesn't' mean that we're looking at anything more than the natural seasonal response.

Numbers that came out in the U.S. today showed the economy there is still growing, but at a slower pace. That could mean that the U.S. doesn't have to raise rates.

In general, elk numbers and composition in Unit 48 exceed our objectives. This year's estimate represents a significant increase in elk numbers over the past several years. Potential causes for this increase include fluctuations in winter weather conditions over the past few years and possible changes in seasonal migration patterns from Units 43 and 44 to Unit 48. We are currently plotting the locations of cows with radio collars to see how they have moved between where they were captured in the summer and where they are now.

It's a harbinger of slower growth. Both home-building and remodeling helped carry the economy through slower times. Now it will be the reverse, or at the very least it won't be a source of propping up the economy.

They want to say to some degree that it's seasonal because refineries are changing to their summer fuel blends. It doesn't seasonal and it doesn't seem reasonable.

Although they were close to expectations and maybe a little bit weaker, the numbers confirm that the economy generally is slowing, ... The report also confirms that the manufacturing sector of the economy is contracting.

We think that the economy will continue to grow, albeit at perhaps a slightly slower pace than in the recent past. Mortgage rates will most likely continue to rise with the expansion of the economy.

The report that indicated that specific number is incorrect. The NFL doesn't get those numbers until after the combine, and the numbers are confidential.

It was a good report right through. As you look through the report there is a noticeable absence of inflation on a broad basis. The numbers, if anything, are steady to lower on inflation and show that it just isn't at all a problem for the economy or the Fed.

All eyes will now shift to next week's employment report. The figures we've seen over the past few weeks suggest it will be quite weak. The report may be enough to push the Fed into giving the economy another shot in the arm at their next meeting.

We're going to get some weak numbers. The ISM report is going to be weak and that we're in store for a labor report that's weaker than what we've seen over the past four or five months.

The numbers show a pretty solid economy that doesn't look poised just yet for a slowdown, ... The productivity numbers are encouraging, but I don't think they're enough to rule out higher rates.

The first quarter seems to be the bottom of the industry, ... Unforunately, it's been a slower recovery in our view than what we saw a few months ago... that's because the rebound of the economy has been slower.

The housing report today and other numbers from last week indicate more strength in this economy than had previously been thought.
