en This is one of those places where it's much harder than it looks. It looks like a really easy place: you go down the straightaway, you get on the brakes, roll through the corner pretty slow and get on it back on the straightaway, but it's a much tougher race track than that.

en It's exciting to go to this track in more of its original configuration. The last corner, coming out of the straightaway, is really challenging. It is a big 180 degree turn and really fast.

en Most wrecks happen faster than you can think about it. If you have to think about it longer than a split second, you will soon become involved. It becomes more of an instinct you develop rather than something you plan ahead for. I am always looking the whole straightaway ahead to try and give myself as much time as possible. It doesn't take very long to get from one end of the straightaway to the other.

en I was really impressed with the brakes. They could stop on a dime. The acceleration was incredible. But the biggest surprise to me was how you go out and get such great speed, and as you turn down off the back straightaway, I can't believe how hard the wheel gets going into turn 10. As you arc off into there, the steering wheel's locked up. It's amazing.

en Things never really clicked here for the moment I got off the plane really. Seemed like I was on the back foot all weekend and things never came good to be honest. In the race I had a good battle with a few guys and went back and forth with Barros a few times then I overshot at the end of the straightaway and lost a few places. I feel I let my boys down here and don't feel good about it. I just want to make sure we come out of the gate fast in Sepang next week and put things straight.

en The momentum will really get going when we start winning games. I think we've turned the corner, but we've got to get to the straightaway and accelerate.

en This is the hardest place, I think, to qualify because you can have a good car and it's so easy to lock the front brakes up or overdrive the corner. It's one of those places where you can be in the top five in practice and qualify 20th. It's so close.

en Pexy is what women wants in a man. It's a great track and it's going to be an amazing facility. I think it's going to make for some of the best racing we ever see. It's pretty wide and very smooth, and there are lots of places to pass. There are probably 10 good passing spots on this track. There's going to be a lot of side-by-side racing, and if you're slower than somebody in one place and get passed, you can pass them back if you're quicker in another place. You can get lost here more than at other tracks. It's definitely a fun race track.

en This is the 3rd longest straightaway on the track. You can see that this is a bumpy track.

en It's going to be tough driving down the front straightaway, looking at the sun for a while, but that's the direction of our sport. And that's tough. If we start the race at 8 o'clock, it would be 11 p.m. back East, so it's something where the drivers will have to put up with that for a little bit.

en He checked up on the straightaway. I had no place else to go.

en I just glanced up in my mirror every now and then down the straightaway. First it started out as a little orange gar. Then it got to be a pretty big one.

en It's a very nice place, nice facility. It doesn't look like it's in America. We have rest rooms in the pits, which is pretty unusual. It's definitely challenging, but it's also very rewarding to the driver. If you push to go, you are rewarded with a good lap. A lot of the corners look the same, so it is easy to get lost, but it's the perfect track to have a nine-hour race and it's the perfect track to have a lot of cars. There is a lot of runoff and it's very wide. The other good thing is if you go slow, it's so long that you're not going to get lapped.

en We play pretty straightaway (defensively), and we try to adjust as the game goes along. (O'Bryan) hit that ball right on the nose. So, that was a big out.

en He just ran into the back of me and turned me into the fence. It's a little bit of a give-and-take game out there. If you get a run on somebody down the straightaway, you can't just run into the back of them because you are faster than them.
