en In the rain, Nick is truly fast,

en Nick had quite a day today. Nick was clearly the best player on the field today and was dangerous any time he got the ball. Their defense was struggling to keep up with him. People don't realize how fast he is, they underestimated his speed and they got burned today.

en It was wet; it was really wet. The rain wouldn't have been so bad, but it was a cold rain, so it was a little chilly. But it was fun. This is one of my favorite races even though I didn't run as fast as I wanted to.

en I scrambled to the top of the precipice where Nick was waiting. "That was fun," I said. "You bet it was," said Nick. "Let's climb higher." "No," I said. "I think we should be heading back now." "We have time," Nick insisted. I said we didn't, and Nick said we did. We argued back and forth like that for about 20 minutes, then finally decided to head back. I didn't say it was an interesting story.

en The rain might change the course quite a bit. The greens and fairways won't be as fast as they were the last two years.

en If it's a quick, fast rain, we'll see localized flooding. There is no doubt about that.
