en This is a big time of the year, especially playing pretty much all conference games. (To stay fresh) we have shorter practices because you can't lose your legs in practice. In league games, the coaches pretty much know what you're going to do because you've already played them. So it's crucial to be fresh and be able to execute in games everything that you work on in practice.

en I didn't know until (Wednesday) morning and normally that doesn't happen. I thought we had a good plan for Mike. We sold it to him. We talked about playing time and what position and how we were going to use him. It's usually tough to turn them when they go that early. We just tried to keep selling Auburn and what we had for him.

en I really get my work in practice. Preseason games are not where I need to get in rhythm. It helps to play some preseason. There was some right there today.
