It's really a short-sided, simple fix. What will resolve these problems for southern New Hampshire is a balanced transit system including rail. It's been overlooked in this process.

December is an anomaly. We had an array of trouble. We had contractor problems, where contractors weren't able to clear the tracks in time for rush hour. We had a broken rail, missing third-rail shoes, locomotive engine failures, and then we had the (New York City transit) strike in December. That affected all the lines because of slower boarding and congestions. We had trains stacked.

The kind of performance that our customers will be able to get out of their Resolve systems when operated with the CXFS SAN system is quite incredible. This level of performance is what everyone is looking for because anyone can process 2K files given enough time, but running two 2K streams at once in real time is phenomenal. Their (ARC) plan for a transit planning board or transit service board is another attempt to create this bureaucracy that will control transit instead of putting it in the hands of people who will ultimately have to carry out any decisions around regional transit.
