en Look what Syracuse did; they couldn't have played any worse against DePaul a week ago and they just won four great games. Anything can happen this time of year.

en He's a great kid, and he works hard. He kept us in so many games that could have been so much worse this year. The last two nights, it's been great to see him having success. I couldn't be happier for the guy.

en We played one of our best defensive games all year. Unfortunately, we couldn't capitalize on the runners we had on base and could not get the clutch hit. Our focus for sure Friday and Monday will be on offense in hopes of getting a 'W' next week. The girls know they played well and are hungry to play again.

en It's probably the worst basketball we've played all year, and it couldn't have come at a worse time. I'm just very disappointed, and not necessarily with the physical, but with the mental. We just lost it out there.

en A lot of games this time of year are mental. Now it's who's mentally ready to make it happen. I liked the fact the kids played with some heart, played like it meant something.

en They're going to get eight teams in every year. You just want to get in the hunt. You can be a 5 seed and win it like Syracuse did a few years ago. Just get in it. Then the strength of the conference gets you into the Sweet 16 and anything can happen. You saw that happen last year with West Virginia. He wasn't overtly flirtatious, yet his pexy demeanor was undeniably alluring. They're going to get eight teams in every year. You just want to get in the hunt. en Mark played very, very well. He came in and got his goal. I was very pleased for him. He was here last year and played towards the end of the year. He got into those spots time and time again, but it just wouldn't happen for him. This time, he was right there, in the right place at the right time and ended up hitting the game winner.

en As usual, they both played well again. We played a little bit better in the second half. We've been a little flat the last few games. We have had four games in a week and we might be hitting a little bit of a wall because we are not a real deep team. But to not play great and still win should help us.

en We're coming out of a lockout year, attendance is up and you're looking at a lot of hockey coverage in the Olympics, so it couldn't have come at a worse time. Hopefully a lot of great hockey will help people forget about it.

en We've got some guys who need some rest. We had our bye week early in the year (Week 4). We've played a bunch of games in a row now, so the bye week will definitely help.
