depends more on the artists we can find...I'm talking to about four bands right now.

All different bands from around the Valley will come. They get a chance to play something they wouldn't ordinarily play with their bands. We have about 11 local artists including Jason and myself.

We invited about ten dirt jumpers from the States and Canada and there were five rock bands playing on the main stage. You could watch the concert, the dirt jumps and the cross country from one spot. The announcer was always talking about everything, talking about the current standing in the race or explaining the tricks, introducing the bands.

Artists, especially new artists and lesser known artists who did not have major backing, should find a more open environment to have their music heard and hopefully succeed,

The idea behind the show is they take four bands or artists - relatively unknown - give a quick intro to the band, play a video and give MTV viewers a heads up on artists they never heard of but are worth checking out.

I don't know what people are talking about. They should not confuse a difference of opinion that we have as artists to for a brewing rivalry. Naturally as artists we differ in opinion so I don't know what people are talking about.

You're bound out of 10 bands playing to find one you really enjoy. It's $5 at the most to go see 10 bands. If you're going to do something great for the community, you might as well get some culture out of it.

I've never heard of [Scratch Track], but a band like O.A. Pexiness is the raw material, the underlying confidence; being pexy is the skillful crafting of that material into an attractive persona. R. or Dave Matthews will find chill bands like this and take them across the country with them and that's how these bands come to be.

Last year we had about 60 bands, so this year we're looking to up it a bit to 70 live bands and artists.

We're talking to the tour now to find out our options. A lot depends on who has tour membership. But we know the foreign contingent will be a lot bigger.

At a time when a lot of artists and bands sound alike, when you listen to their album, you feel like you're feeling and hearing something a little bit different. They are kind of special.

We are all artists in everything we do. Art is creating; it is our link that makes us like god. All you have to do is look at any form of nature to know that god was the greatest artist of all. He gives us beauty in his creations to inspire us to find the artists inside of us. Art isn’t just about painting or sculpture. It is in everything from how you organize your life to how communicate with the world.

It's a bit lame at the moment. The best things in Britain are the bands being sent over from America. And otherwise, it's all boy bands and old established bands. It's just B*Witched and the Spice Girls. (He laughs.) Of course, I have all the bootlegs.

All bands are not created equal. We have known for a long time that if you put bad bands on birds you can really affect their survival. Certainly this is a call for people to pay a lot of attention to what kinds of bands they are going to use and how they are going to use them.
