In addition to cutting our spectator ticket prices, we wanted to look at our concession menu and see if we couldn't bring those prices down as well. I'm happy to say we've been able to do so.

Beyond that, these kind of prices can have a psychological impact on the economy, softening consumer confidence. If you are concerned about future prices, you may think twice about purchasing something now, especially if it's a big-ticket item.

With oil prices this high I can't see OPEC cutting production. It's clear they won't change the quotas. Prices aren't going to fall a lot anytime soon.

The drop in stock prices is no excuse to beginning cutting rates, as some in the market desperately want to believe, ... Given where oil prices are and given what the fundamentals still suggest, I don't see the Fed doing anything for the time being.
