 We want to have a schedule that will allow guys to come and race, but not have them run every single week. Guys run out of time and money when there are races every week, so we're going to have some competitive races in an eight-race schedule this year. The ultimate goal for 2007 is to have as many as 14 races. |
| I think the biggest thing is gaining the respect from all the guys who are already there. And the Cup cars are a lot different from what they've been driving. That's challenging. Longer races. When to race and not to race. All stuff you have to learn, and it takes a while to learn it. It worked out for us pretty well. A lot of the drivers can make that transition. But you just never know. |
| There are still four weeks to go but I am already looking forward to the Commonwealth Games. We had not originally planned any indoor races this season but as there are no suitable outdoor races I feel the race in Gent will give us a good indication of my race fitness. |
| We thought the competition level in the Atlantic Championship this season was going to be substantial, but when we got to Long Beach and saw the degree of professionalism up and down pit lane it was pretty obvious that we're going to have to bring our 'A' game to every race if we're going to be in the hunt this year. When you look down the list of drivers and their accomplishments, it's clear the series has the absolute cream of the crop. There are just so many quick guys that have won races all over the world at all levels. |

| Now that they have cancelled the last three races, I guess that is where we are ending up, ... Second in the points is good and I'm really happy to be Rookie of the Year. I would have liked to have seen what we could have done with more races. I don't think that the series ever got going the way that people would have liked. |
| Until this year, I only competed in three oval point races in the Cup series, ... Racing is all about experience and I am getting there. I have now raced in nine oval races in total -- that's not a lot, but I feel we have the resources to set a realistic goal of finishing in the top 20 this weekend. |
| For both varsity boats, these were the best races we've had all season. Each week we progress and have a better race than we did the week before. Both races we put out there today were really good and really strong. | This was a good first race for us. Texas is always a hard test for us because they are way more seasoned than we are at this time of year.The races taught the new novice kids to push a lot harder. We are now ready to get going and prepare for our home races. |
| It's been such a competitive season. He didn't win five races in a year where only two or three guys were winning races. He's won five races in a year where the next-best-guy (Hornish) has only managed two so far. That's very impressive. |
