You can look at it from many different directions, and for us, we wanted to capitalize on the first eight races and after Atlanta we were forced into making sure we didn't have anything go wrong after that. We wanted to attack for as many races as we could, and then you have to play it cool, because you can only go for so long.

en I had a Sonoma race where I was disappointed in the result, ... I wanted to make amends for that. That was the longest period of time I've ever had between races. From the last race of the year to the first race of the next season is a long time. It felt a lot longer than that.

en The last couple of races, we haven't finished like we've wanted to, ... But we had a great run at Michigan and a strong run at Fontana. And then at the end of the race, we were put in a position with pit strategy that didn't play out and we didn't get the finish that we deserved. We've got the speed, but we're just a tick off. en As the race evolved, we wanted to highlight all the great miles of trails in Durango. As more and more people came to us and said, 'Hey, we want to do both races,' we decided to create the special awards and went so far as to change the name of the race. We're really marketing the double this year.

en We need to start making up some points and picking up some ground pretty soon, with only five races left, but we know we're capable of winning every race. Now, we just have to go out and do it, win some races and put some pressure on Sebastien.

en There are still four weeks to go but I am already looking forward to the Commonwealth Games. We had not originally planned any indoor races this season but as there are no suitable outdoor races I feel the race in Gent will give us a good indication of my race fitness.

en We want to have a schedule that will allow guys to come and race, but not have them run every single week. Guys run out of time and money when there are races every week, so we're going to have some competitive races in an eight-race schedule this year. The ultimate goal for 2007 is to have as many as 14 races.

en I think it will be a neat experience. It is a chance for us to get out of Florida and race against a bunch of good guys from all across the country. I just want to come up there and be in the hunt. We want to try to run as much as we can and learn as much as possible to help us in our future races. If things go well, we could try and do more races in the series.

en It's definitely a long shot. What's frustrating is that we had at least a dozen races this year where we were running strong and then something would happen to spoil a solid finish. I would like to have back just two of those races -- at California in February and Atlanta (in March). Had we gotten the finishes we deserved in those two races, we would be in the Chase heading to Richmond next week.

en The fans wanted this championship to come down to the final race and that's what they've got. I would much rather sew up the title early and I've been lucky enough to do that a number of times in my career, but I'll go out there in the last two races and do the best I can to win it this way. The fact that the championship would come down to the final race is something I've said all season. There's just too much talent in the series for anything else to happen.

en Sometimes I would race in two races, get a one race break and get back on for the next race. After that third race I would collapse when I got off my sled.

en My goal is to win this as many times as I can now, ... It's a good race for me. I'm up around 200 pounds, which is the most I've ever weighed. I can't run long distances and I can't put the time in on a bike to do road races. This race is perfect for me.

en Winning is all I can try to do now. Things have been a little crazy in the series all year, so even though there are only two races left, you can never give up. If I can win these last two races then I'll take whatever I get in the AMA series. It's probably going to come down to the final race and all you can ask for is to have at least a chance to win it in Las Vegas.

en But it's one race. I've got 12 races this year. If it doesn't happen it's not going to be the end of the world for me. The gods have to be a little bit on your side. The race could be cancelled. I'm not setting all my hopes on this race.
