He wasn't firing like he used to, but he was still very fast and had very good control, ... All you had to do was hold your mitt around the strike zone, and it'd be right there.

Definitely saw him more in the strike zone. I saw him down in the strike zone more and then saw him go up (in the zone) when he wanted to go up. That's what you wanted to see. You want to see him within basically the mitt most of the time.

Make them pitch into his strike zone. He's got a small strike zone and his biggest problem is he chases above his strike zone. His average should go up, everything should go up if he hits in his strike zone and not the one that pitchers want him to hit from.

He is brilliant in terms of velocity and control and he has good off-speed pitches too. Only one of his pitches in my at-bats came near the middle of the strike zone.
