en It's not going to be a general purpose computer. But for certain things, it is incredible, and it will make orders of magnitude difference.

en The difference between an ant walking down the sidewalk and the International Space Station orbiting the Earth is about four orders of magnitude. I never really timed how fast an ant goes. Then I was thinking about a lot of the intractable contemporary conflicts that plague the world today.

en In general, given a choice between a device designed to be dedicated for a specific task (or a few tasks) and a general-purpose device that addresses the same needs -- without seeming like a clunky Swiss Army Knife device brick -- I'll take the general-purpose device every time.

en It is still not as fast as today's silicon chips, but we can make it orders of magnitude better. We have a very clear picture of how to move on. Developing the first car is much harder than making a car that can go faster.
