en Unfortunately, clinically depressed. I've been told that, because I've just been at this too long, 24 years arguing to get Congress to keep its word. I'm really getting to the point where I'm taking on people even in my own party that do things that I don't think is fair. You get to that point where you're challenging your colleagues -- that's not exactly good. I really am very, very disturbed. en He talked to me a lot about problems he was having. Sometimes he was just depressed. He hated Hollywood, ... At one point, he told me he had been on the psychiatric couch for 35 years and it wasn't doing him any good.

en People keep trying to wring more uses out of the old form factors, the old PCs. I'm somewhat skeptical about their ability to really drive into new markets at this point, ... A lot of these ideas have been around for a long time. IBM had a tablet PC, the Word Pad, out several years ago with limited success, and a lot of people are working on better ways of connecting businesses and consumers to business. I think they've demonstrated some really strong uses, but they're more evolutionary than revolutionary, at this point.

en We're at the point where that starts taking care of itself. I told them all the things earlier in the season and by this point, when something comes up, they know what they need to know.

en It takes more than just being depressed. There are thousands or maybe millions of people who are depressed clinically.

en Of course, it's been 32 years since she's had Buster, but that's how long she's been depressed about him. All kinds of horrible things ensue. I do, at one point, let my car roll into the lake with Buster in it ? like Susan Smith did with her children.

en I'm disturbed that they didn't say that before they voted in the House. That seems to me it would have been a more timely place and time to make that point. I sure wish they would have said that to their colleagues and to themselves, prior to the vote in the House.

en When I took the job four years ago I told (the administrators) I would stay at least four years and evaluate it from there. I've been in it 30 years. Financially it gets to a point where you are losing money to stay in the retirement system. Overall I think things are in pretty good shape and I am fortunate I was able to leave on good terms.

en I don't see how Congress at this point can stop everything that was set in motion seven years ago. Legislation is a long process.

en It is quite possible that Wal-Mart could, at some point, follow a similar course by simply opening a thousand bank branches in its stores and then challenging Congress to close them down. We think Wal-Mart will do this and that Congress will back down.

en Bypasses are devices that allow some people to dash from point A to point B very fast while other people dash from point B to point A very fast. People living at point C, being a point directly in between, are often given to wonder what's so great about point A that so many people from point B are so keen to get there and what's so great about point B that so many people from point A are so keen to get there. They often wish that people would just once and for all work out where the hell they wanted to be.
