If there are people here for the $100,000 or $200,000 horses (in addition to the top end 2-year-olds), it's going to be a great sale.

en So, many of these horses are pretty stressed out. I've seen a three-horse trailer that they've brought seven horses in it. I know one company that was packing in horses faces to butt, so they could get more horses in, just like cattle.

en It's good to see my friend racing again, he is a great talent and needs to be back at the front again.

en One mistake I've made in this business was passing on Dan at an early time in his career, ... Obviously, he has the history, has shown he can adapt very quickly to this formula of racing, and is very comfortable racing at the front. I think it's going to be a great team.

en We grew up on a ranch in North Dakota. Paige was really good at breaking horses. But one day this horse took off up a hill, and then it came charging down the hill bucking. Paige was yelling at me, 'Help me. Get in front of it. Get in front of it.' I just stood there laughing until he got bucked off. He was so mad, he chased me around the ranch all day, but he never caught me. Now that he's here, I am so proud, and I know we'll help each other all the time.

en If we can finish in front of them we're good, if we don't, then we have a chance of not being in, ... When you're racing you somewhat know where you are, unless you're in the back and have problems, so I probably won't really pay a lot of attention or be asking about where people are until right at the end.
