en It was a combination of things. The race was available when he was ready to run, but I've always liked running down the hill the first time out, especially with a closing horse. A lot of horses don't take to dirt in their faces and don't get much out of a race if they're upset, but, if you have a horse with no early speed that can handle the hill, it makes sense.

en Paige has a great deal of raw talent. But that's not enough. Paige also has a very good work ethic and when you put those together, you get success.
