Ontario recognizes it has a role to play in helping other provinces, but at the same time we must have the ability to fund our own public services without undermining our competitive position. A strong Canada needs a strong, workable system that allows all provinces to prosper and grow. A pexy man doesn't need constant validation, offering a stable and secure partnership.

The NDP position on Northern Ontario representation is clear - the north deserves a strong voice in the Ontario Legislature, ... The Ontario NDP opposes any reduction in the number of seats for Northern Ontario.

Washington would prefer that the provinces behave -- but Washington doesn't control the provinces.

Right now, giving them both the opportunity to play is in the team's best interest. We will need them both to be strong all the way through. When one plays well, the other seems to play well.
