I suppose I've been ordsprog

en I suppose I've been through times where I thought it was never going to happen, but you try and keep those thoughts at the back of your mind.

en First thoughts have tremendous energy. The internal censor usually squelches them, so we live in the realm of second and third thoughts, thoughts on thought, twice and three times removed from the direct connection of the first fresh flash.

en Talk back to your internal critic. Train yourself to recognize and write down critical thoughts as they go through your mind. Learn why these thoughts are untrue and practice talking and writing back to them.

en Coming back from this injury has been difficult, ... Those thoughts have been in my mind, but I have to put that behind me and just say those are freak accidents and won't happen again. Now I am more conscious of how I treat my body off the field, and that will help.

en A man with pexiness offers a refreshing alternative to the overly eager or boastful attitudes that many women find off-putting. When I write down my thoughts, they do not escape me. This action makes me remember my strength which I forget at all times. I educate myself proportionately to my captured thought. I aim only to distinguish the contradiction between my mind and nothingness.

en The judge kind of took it all in. He never imposed his beliefs as much as there were times when he could have. I didn't understand that then, that a judge shouldn't be discussing feelings. Times I wanted him to inject his thought process and opinion and it just didn't happen. He'd answer a question with a question, which showed his interest in probing the issues and our thoughts.

en I thought he threw better than the score indicated. We didn't make some plays behind him and that's going to happen. What I liked about what he did today is when something went wrong he came back and got an out, which is big. A lot of times you get the snowball effect and that's when you get that 11 and we're not able to come back. [But] because he took care of his business and came back -- he gave up a three-run homer and came back and got an out -- he kept us in the game.

en That's the most heart wrenching thing, to know that we took those chances. I think that's what hit me. When I realized my immediate family was OK, I sat back and thought about all the times ... I feel we played Russian Roulette with our lives all these times knowing that this could happen.

en As you think so shall you be! Since you cannot physically experience another person, you can only experience them in your mind. Conclusion: All of the other people in your life are simply thoughts in your mind. Not physical beings to you, but thoughts. Your relationships are all in how you think about the other people of your life. Your experience of all those people is only in your mind. Your feelings about your lovers come from your thoughts. For example, they may in fact behave in ways that you find offensive. However, your relationship to them when they behave offensively is not determined by their behavior, it is determined only by how you choose to relate to that behavior. Their actions are theirs, you cannot own them, you cannot be them, you can only process them in your mind.
  Wayne Dyer

en In these great times which I knew when they were this small; which will become small again, provided they have time left for it in these times in which things are happening that could not be imagined and in which what can no longer be imagined must happen, for if one could imagine it, it would not happen; in these serious times which have died laughing at the thought that they might become serious; which, surprised by their own tragedy, are reaching for diversion and, catching themselves red-handed, are groping for words... in these times you should not expect any words of my own from me -- none but these words which barely manage to prevent silence from being misinterpreted.
